Potato starch for papermaking 600g

This special potato starch derivative in a 600 g pack is designed as a filling and retention agent to improve the quality of handmade paper. The agent is added directly to the finished paper pulp, where, thanks to its specific cationic bond, it adheres strongly to the cellulose fibres and is not washed away by excess mixing water. It is fully compatible with all standard papermaking components, such as cellulose fibres, recycled paper, chalk powder, kaolin, or dried flowers, ensuring a strong mutual bond between them. The starch is first left to swell in the pulp for at least 30 minutes and is then mixed intensely. Depending on the dosage (from 0.3 to 2.5% of the total weight of the dry mixture), the agent fixes the fillers, increasing the overall strength, acoustic quality (sound) of the paper, and its resistance to abrasion and erasing. The product is of purely natural origin, and the tools used can be easily washed with lukewarm water after work.
