Latex for mould making Formalate 300ml

This Formalate liquid natural latex is a professional one-component emulsion designed for the custom production of highly flexible, elastic, and detailed casting moulds (so-called glove moulds). The material is characterised by excellent flowability and the ability to accurately copy even the finest surface structures, wrinkles and micro-reliefs of the sampled model. The latex is applied by gradual brushing using a brush, spatula or by dipping the original model in several thin layers, which naturally vulcanise at room temperature after the water evaporates and turn into a highly tough, rubber stencil. The resulting mould has extraordinary elongation and mechanical strength, allowing easy stripping and demoulding even for very complex shapes with deep undercuts without the risk of the material tearing. The moulds are fully compatible for casting plaster, creative concrete, candle wax or soap bases. To increase the rigidity of larger latex stencils, it is recommended to create a solid external plaster or glass-reinforced plastic support shell. Used tools and brushes must be thoroughly washed with soapy water immediately after finishing work, before the latex begins to dry; once dry, the material can only be removed by mechanical peeling.
