Heat-resistant casting silicone for mould making Silcotin 500g

This professional heat-resistant two-component Silcotin silicone is a specially developed casting material designed for the production of highly durable, flexible moulds with extreme thermal stability. Once cured, the silicone withstands high temperatures over the long term (short-term up to 350 °C), making it an ideal material for the direct casting of low-melting-point metals and their alloys (e.g. tin, lead, zinc), candle waxes, soap bases, and aggressive two-component resins. The mixture exhibits excellent flowability and low viscosity, allowing it to perfectly replicate even the finest details, textures, and micro-reliefs of the original model. The resulting moulds possess extraordinary tear strength, mechanical elasticity, and high dimensional stability with minimal linear shrinkage, guaranteeing a long service life and the shape accuracy of castings even under repeated thermal stress. The silicone is prepared by precisely mixing the base component with the appropriate catalyst (hardener) in the ratio specified by the manufacturer. The mixture should be stirred slowly and evenly to prevent the introduction of air bubbles. After completing the work, used tools and mixing containers should be wiped with a dry cloth and subsequently washed with warm soapy water or an alcohol-based cleaner.
