These chopped glass fibres are designed as a highly effective reinforcing additive (micro-reinforcement) for plaster, cement, concrete and other mineral casting materials. The fibres serve to structurally reinforce castings; once mixed into the liquid mixture, they create a three-dimensional internal network that significantly increases flexural tensile strength, impact toughness and the overall resistance of the material to mechanical damage. The use of this additive effectively eliminates the formation of shrinkage cracks and micro-cracks during the drying and hydration process, enabling the casting of thin-walled, large-scale or geometrically complex objects and sculptures with a low risk of brittle edges breaking off. The fibres are chemically inert, resistant to the alkaline environment of cement, and do not affect the colour shade or the resulting chemical properties of the casting material. The additive is dosed in the recommended percentage ratio to the weight of the dry mixture and should be thoroughly mixed dry before adding water to ensure even distribution without the formation of clumps. When handling dry fibres, the use of protective equipment (gloves, respirator) is recommended.
