Floater frame Levitas natural 80x100cm

Floater frame Levitas natural 80x100cm

A modern frame for stretched painting canvases, also known as a "float frame" or "L frame". Unlike a regular frame, the canvas is inserted inside and its edges are visible. It is deliberately a little bigger, there should be a small gap of about half a centimeter between the canvas and the frame. It is suitable for canvases of standard height 15-22mm; we do not recommend it for framing deep or 3D canvases.

The stated format is always inner size with certain tolerance, the frame itself is a bit larger. For example, a frame with a stated size of 30x40cm has an actual internal size of 31x41cm and an external size of approx. 33x43cm. The canvas can be fastened with nails, screws or staples.

• solid wood
• frame profile 35x35mm
• easy canvas insertion
