Professional smoking candle designed for traditional intaglio printing techniques, especially for etching and aquatint. It is used for uniform blackening (sooting) of the etching ground on zinc, copper, or brass plates. It ensures perfect visual contrast when engraving with a graphic needle and, thanks to its content of fatty soot, increases the resistance of the protective layer against acids.
