This premium ArteStone relief casting compound is a specially modified, finely ground mineral composite designed for casting highly detailed figurative sculptures, statues, reliefs and architectural interior elements. The resulting material is characterised by extreme hardness, high density and structural strength, with final properties and structure that faithfully mimic natural marble or fine-grained stone. The compound has excellent flowability and perfectly replicates even the finest details, folds and contours of silicone, plastic or latex casting moulds without the formation of air bubbles. During the setting and hydration process, it exhibits minimal linear shrinkage, ensuring absolute dimensional accuracy of the casting and preventing the formation of cracks. The mixture is prepared by blending with water in a precisely specified ratio until a smooth, homogeneous liquid is formed. Once fully hardened and dried, the surface of the casting is perfectly white, smooth, non-yellowing and can be further mechanically processed (sanded, polished) or surface-decorated with patinas, pigments and varnishes. Used tools and mixing containers should be rinsed with lukewarm water immediately after completing the work.
